These pets don’t cause allergies

Generally speaking, cats are the animal that cause the most allergies. However, even in this species, some of these pets don’t cause allergies. The same is true with birds.  Therefore, continue reading to find out which are the best ones to have at home if someone has allergies.

Devon Rex

You might remember reading about this cat breed — featured in the picture above —  in former articles. They have pointy ears, hypnotic eyes, and short fur. The odd thing about their fur is that it’s so stuck to their skin that it’s almost impossible to separate the two.

People who have cat allergies aren’t allergic to the animal itself. Rather it’s a reaction to the mixture of their fur and saliva they leave around the house when they clean themselves. When their fur spreads all over the house, that’s when the sneezing and other symptoms start to take place.

Hamster

What if you don’t want to adopt a cat despite knowing it won’t give you allergic reactions? Well, you could start by adopting a small rodent like a hamster. However, you should make sure that you don’t have allergies to the dander.  If you have already spent hours with one without any problems, then obviously it could be the perfect pet for you.

If so, remember that most of the time these animals should be in their cage. That’s where they have their toys and other equipment. This animal can get bored and start to eat some of your furniture or favorite belongings.

Rabbits

If you like furry pets, but you’re allergic to them, that doesn’t mean that you have to give up on them. There are few known cases of rabbit allergies. And for some people, those that have them as pets don’t have major problems.

Poodle

Poodles are one of the few breeds that have never been mentioned when it cause to causing allergic reactions. It looks like its fur doesn’t affect people with allergies. Their fur hardly sheds and needs to be trimmed to get rid of knots
