These pets don’t cause allergies

Generally speaking, cats are the animal that cause the most allergies. However, even in this species, some of these pets don’t cause allergies. The same is true with birds.  Therefore, continue reading to find out which are the best ones to have at home if someone has allergies.

Devon Rex

You might remember reading about this cat breed — featured in the picture above —  in former articles. They have pointy ears, hypnotic eyes, and short fur. The odd thing about their fur is that it’s so stuck to their skin that it’s almost impossible to separate the two.

People who have cat allergies aren’t allergic to the animal itself. Rather it’s a reaction to the mixture of their fur and saliva they leave around the house when they clean themselves. When their fur spreads all over the house, that’s when the sneezing and other symptoms start to take place.

What if you don’t want to adopt a cat despite knowing it won’t give you allergic reactions? Well, you could start by adopting a small rodent like a hamster. However, you should make sure that you don’t have allergies to the dander.  If you have already spent hours with one without any problems, then obviously it could be the perfect pet for you.

If so, remember that most of the time these animals should be in their cage. That’s where they have their toys and other equipment. This animal can get bored and start to eat some of your furniture or favorite belongings.

If you like furry pets, but you’re allergic to them, that doesn’t mean that you have to give up on them. There are few known cases of rabbit allergies. And for some people, those that have them as pets don’t have major problems.

Having a rabbit can be very fun. This is especially true if you spend time teaching them things. They may seem a lot like a dog! They’ll come when you call (if you have it out of its hutch), feel bad when you scold them and want to be cuddled all the time, without any allergies!

Poodles are one of the few breeds that have never been mentioned when it cause to causing allergic reactions. It looks like its fur doesn’t affect people with allergies. Their fur hardly sheds and needs to be trimmed to get rid of knots

These are caring and playful animals that always try to get their owner’s attention and affections. Because of this, you will enjoy living with one of them a lot. Also, almost all of them have vision problems when they get older. So, would that be a problem for you?

If you love animals and want to have some at home but you have allergies, then a goldfish would be perfect for you. You can enjoy their elegant swimming and their multicolor beauty. And, you won’t have to worry about itching, watery eyes or sneezing.

Sphynx Cat

This breed is one that few like because they don’t have fur. However, what better cat to have than a hairless one if you have allergies? Are you someone who likes to be different and original? If you love cats, would you ever give up on them just because they’re bald? If you wouldn’t, then this is the pet you’re looking for!

If you want to adopt any pet, no matter what it is, maybe a snake, iguana, or some other reptile would be ideal for you. You can also adopt frogs or turtles. It doesn’t matter as long as you have an animal at home, right?
