A dog will do what he can to bite your throat because it’s a “vital” area. Also, try to cover your face and chest with your arms and hands. Tuck in your knees to protect your stomach.

Maintain this position for a few minutes. Let the dog get close to you and smell you. But whatever you do, do not use this as an opportunity to strike a blow. This will just make the dog more aggressive.
