A biologist with extensive experience in projects related to the conservation and promotion of the environment. She is currently studying to specialize in protozoology, an area that she has introduced into the workplace. She also has experience in popularizing science and writing materials and articles related to biology.

About the author

Graduated in Biology from the University of Zulia (2012). She is currently studying a Master's degree in Protozoology at the Universidad de Los Andes.

During her professional practice she has participated in different projects: conservation of the coastal caiman, antimicrobial resistance, in vitro fertilization of cattle, food safety, diagnosis and treatment of parasitic diseases, as well as those transmitted by vectors. Thus, she has experience in research and writing programs related to biology, conservation, and the environment.

Since 2015, she has been a professor at the Universidad de Los Andes and is part of the research team of the "José Witremundo Torrealba" Experimental Institute. Her career as a writer began with a scientific publication in the Talleres magazine in 2017. Since then she has collaborated in preparing laboratory manuals, research projects, and articles for magazines and digital platforms.
