Panda Chow Chow: Is it a Dog or a Panda?

Last update: 04 April, 2019

Call it Mother Nature, the Creator, evolution or whatever else you may believe in, but it always surprises us with wonderful species that we could have never imagined existed. This is the case with the animal we’re going to talk to you about today: the panda chow chow.

This is an incredible animal and, if you saw one, you’d probably think it was a panda. However, after hearing it bark, you’d know for sure that it was really a dog! We’ll go into more detail about this breed and its characteristics.

Panda chow chow, who wouldn’t want one?

The panda chow chow looks like a panda.

This type of dog is sold in China. It’s interesting that, even though the Chinese have a bad reputation for eating dogs, they seem to love having the Panda chow chow as pets. That’s great news!

The owner of one of the stores that markets it, Hsin Chen, claims that he can’t keep up with the demand of everyone that wants one.

You might be wondering how anyone was able to make such a beautiful dog. Did they cross a panda with a chow chow? The answer is no.

Hsin’s secret

Hsin is totally sincere:

“This isn’t a new dog breed. It’s just a made up chow chow. With a bit of attention to detail and some good makeup, you can get a panda chow chow in a matter of hours.

Once the owner buys his dog, he has to take him to Hsin every month and a half for some touch-ups. This doesn’t cost them a lot of money. Of course, there’s nothing chemical or cruel done to the animal.

Obviously, this preparation increases the price of the dog, but people don’t seem to mind paying more. They believe that the price is justifiable by all the people who are amazed by their dogs. Because of that, they can say that they have a panda dog“.

Wouldn’t you agree after seeing the photos? Has Hsin maybe begun an era of putting makeup on our dogs? As long as it’s not harmful to the animals, we can’t object to it.

Now that we’ve seen how beautiful these dogs are, it’s a good time to look at some of the most beautiful dog breeds in the world.

Other beautiful dogs

We’re sure that you’ve seen plenty of pictures on the internet of small, beautiful dogs, and maybe even some that don’t look real.

Even if dog breeds don’t really matter to you, and you think your own dog is the most beautiful dog in the world, you’ll still be able to appreciate the beauty of these other animals. The breeds that are thought to be the most beautiful are:

Three dogs lying on the floor.
  • Pomeranian. This dog has been booming in recent years, even though it hasn’t been around for very long. That’s because anyone who sees it can’t help but thinking it looks like a fox. The color of its hair, its elegance and even its audacity make him really special.
  • Samoyed. They’re beautiful as puppies and even more beautiful as adults. Their hair is completely white and totally pure, no other dog can compete with it. They call it the polar bear dog breed.
  • Labrador retriever. This breed first became popular because of a toilet paper commercial. It’s one of the most beautiful breeds around. Additionally, everyone wants one as a pet because of its noble character.
  • Husky. Who hasn’t dreamed of owning a husky? Its gray hair combines exceptionally well with its deep blue eyes and that’s what makes it such a special creature.

Other special breeds

  • Newfoundland. This is one of the best breeds of rescue dogs. For those of you who don’t know about them, they look like a mixture of a labrador and a chow chow. However, it’s actually a pure breed.
  • Pug. This is a small dog with protruding eyes that can steal the heart of anyone who comes into contact with it.
  • Shitzu. No one could say they don’t like this breed. Although they’re much cuter as puppies, the elegance they maintain as they age makes them really special.
  • Shar-pei. These are gorgeous wrinkly animals and just ready for a cuddle!
