A bioanalyst specialized in biochemistry. She has extensive experience as a scientific researcher, lecturer, and as a tutor for end-of-degree projects. She has carried out research in foreign universities, and has specialized in intestinal physiology in animals and humans. She collaborates as an advisor for research articles in indexed journals, as well as a writer for digital media.

About the author

Graduated in Bioanalysis from the Universidad de Los Andes (1988). He has a Master's degree in Immunology from the Center for Advanced Studies of the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (1991) and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the IVIC (1998).

She is the author or co-author of more than twenty scientific articles. Since the year 2000, she has worked professionally as a scientific researcher and teacher. She has tutored more than a dozen undergraduate and graduate student theses. She was a member of the National Technical Table on Breastfeeding from 2015-2017, sponsored by MPPPS and Unicef.

His research areas focus on physiology, intestinal development, the effect of human breast milk components on intestinal maturation, and intestinal inflammation models in animals and humans. In these areas, he has developed papers in more than 60 international conferences. He has also carried out research stays abroad, such as at Dalhousie University.

He collaborates as an advisor with more than a dozen scientific journals in her area of knowledge. She also works as a style corrector and editor for various digital media outlets.
