Puss in Boots Now Has His Own Netflix Series
Today, we shall be discussing a cat whose angelic expression has made him famous all over the world. Originally voiced by Antonio Banderas, the character of Puss in Boots first found popularity after starring in Shrek 2 back in 2004. In 2017, Netflix announced that they would be releasing an interactive episode of their popular series, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, where the audience would have the chance to decide what would happen.
The Adventures of Puss in Boots
Popular streaming website Netflix recently confirmed that they would be releasing a number of interactive series, where viewers would be given the opportunity to decide what would happen in every episode. This idea is reminiscent of the “choose your own adventure” books that were so popular twenty or so years ago.
In a press release, Netflix’s Director of Product Innovation, Carla Engelbrecht Fisher announced that Puss in Boots would be getting his own interactive episode, entitled Puss in Boots: Trapped in an Epic Tale.
But this isn’t the only interactive series to come to Netflix. It was closely followed by shows such as Buddy Thunderstruck, Stretch Armstrong: The Breakout and, more recently, the highly successful Black Mirror: Bandersnatch.
With the beloved Puss in Boots as its star, Netflix decided that The Adventures of Puss in Boots was the perfect place to pilot their new idea, giving children the opportunity to interact with their favorite characters.
You can watch these interactive series on your TV, laptop, smartphone or iOs tablet.
